MONASTERY - MUSEUM OF SACRED TERESA


The Monastery of Barefoot Carmelite of San José and Santa Teresa, been founded in 1710, opened their doors to the I publish as Museum of Art Virreynal after 295 years. MUSEUM OF ART VIRREYNAL OF SACRED TERESA

In the Store - Candy store of the Museum, one can degustar an exquisite variety of sweet and pastries made by the nuns with old recipes of the monastery, as well as to acquire the handiworks and memories made by the nuns; among them, the exclusive Soap of Roses that artesanalmente prepares with an old and secret formulates.

The museum of Art Virreynal of Santa Teresa is located in the Street Melgar 303, the schedule of attention is from Monday to Saturday of 9:00 to 17:00 hours, on Sundays of 9:00 to 13:00 hours, the general entrance is of S/. 10.00 new suns (to September of 2010).
