THE CARNIVALS CAJAMARQUINOS
The Carnival of Cajamarca is one of the biggest festivities and one of the most important carnivals taken place in Peru.

They are characteristic the carnival" "ballads and the disguises of abundant coloring. The music and the happiness are the tenor of the festivities, besides the games with water and it tints. A characteristic element of the carnival also constitutes it the jora chicha.
On the carnival" "ballads they have a traditional character and of regional identity; and they are sung accompanied by guitars, a traditional ballad of carnival says: "When I drink I make drunk / that until I don't know what to make / hug to an and to other / believing that he/she is my wife."
The traditional neighborhoods of Cajamarca are organized in patrol cars and processions integrated in their majority for young, these patrol cars travel the city dancing; some of the traditional neighborhoods of Cajamarca are Cumbemayo, Merced, May Two, San José and New Town.
"Cilulo", "Carolina", "Cumbe-Cumbe" and "Matarina", they are some of the traditional compositions of the carnival of Cajamarca; it is also traditional to dance around to the of "the unsha" that is a tree adorned with gifts. The King Momo, is the character that presides over the racket of the parties carnestolendas in Cajamarca and great part of Peru.
In the Patrol cars and Processions it always highlights the Clone, a character covered with an enormous hat in cone form, wide and attractive clothes and a mask made based on wire finely fabric. All them, followers of Ño Carnavalón, is habitual characters in the streets during the carnival. The clones are who head, next to Ño Carnavalón one day Saturday of February, the typical great roe deer of Mondays.

This date in the Square of Weapons transforms into a loquerío. The Patrol cars and Processions parade, dancing and singing before an examining jury that will designate to the best in them. The following day the Corsican of Carnival begins, one of the most picturesque shows that are carried out in the whole Peru.
At least sixty allegorical cars of each neighborhood and institutions parade for the main streets of the city and the Square of Weapons. The queens receive the applause and whistles of the public's admiration bet in the streets. They are five hours where nobody moves of their places, the same ones that have already been "separated" with a necessary one from the previous night dawned. Then that it finishes the parade, each neighborhood it gathers their inhabiting v their own Unsha, a cortamonte to the best style cajacho he/she takes place, watered of ballads and glasses. But the party has to finish.
