COUNTY DE CUTERVO


The county of Cutervo is one of the thirteen counties that conform the Department of Cajamarca, under the administration of the regional Government of Cajamarca, in Peru. The capital of the county of Cutervo is the city of Cutervo, typical city of the mountain of Peru. The county of Cutervo is located 2,637 m.s.n.m, in the left margin of the river Cutervo; which pours their waters in the river Socota and through LLaucán Marañón flows toward the river.

The County of Cutervo limits for the This with the County of Chota and the county of Utcubamba (department of Amazons). For the North with the County of Jaén. For the South with the County of Chota. And for the West with the County of Ferreñafe (department of Lambayeque) and with the county of Chota.

Cutervo is of warm and humid climate. The climate in the riversides of Marañón is cold, dry in the heights of the mountain range and tempered in the valleys.

TOURIST MAIN ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE COUNTY DE CUTERVO.

One of their tourist attractiveness is their rivers, among them we have to the River Cutervo, which is formed by the waters of the rivers Cullanmayo and Llangachis. He/she unites with the river Socota which Marañón ends to the river. River Chotano, is born in the chota county, but it crosses the territory of Cutervo which unites to the river Huancabamba-Chamaya to the north of the county of Cutervo. NATIONAL PARK DE CUTERVO (NATIONAL PARK OF SAN ANDRÉS)

The National Park Cutervo (PNC) is the first natural area of this category settled down by the Peruvian State, the 8 of September of 1961. PNC is located in the district of San Andrés of Cutervo, in the county of the same name in the department of Cajamarca. He/she has an extension of 8214.23 hectares.

Their main attractiveness is the cave of Guácharos, located at a hour of walk from San Andrés' town. ARCHAEOLOGICAL REMAINS DE LLIPA.
