COUNTY OF SAN MIGUEL
San Miguel's town is wrapped by a majestic landscape, plethoric in forms and shades.
When one ascends from the valley, gradually he/she leaves spying their magnificent panorama paisajístico.

San Miguel of Pallaques is the capital city of the district and county of the same name, dista to 40 kilometers of San Pablo's county and 105.5 km. of Cajamarca.
It is located 2,620 m.s.n.m., it was founded by the Spaniards before Francisco's dramatic encounter Pizarro with Atahualpa in November of 1532.
The population sanmiguelina is welcoming and very hospital, the Andean surrounded city of beautiful landscapes, you/he/she still maintains a gentle appearance that is transformed during the month of September the celebrations of her worshipped image, "San Miguel Archangel", and her central day is the one 29.

THE BIGGEST SQUARE DE THE CITY

MAIN CHURCH OF SAN MIGUEL
San Miguel's Main Church is of adobe and erected one of the highest of the country. It exposes in the external part of the temple with view to the Square of Weapons a Swiss showy clock in their central part. The work was culminated in the year 1911. The Cathedral of having purified colonial architecture and their clear forms evoke the simplicity and the insatiable desire for the virtue of people of the place. BRIDGE DE CALICANTO
Built beautiful bridge at the end of the XIX century. Located to two kilometers of San Miguel's city. During the mayor's Hyacinth command Barrantes the stone bridge was built on the river San Miguel. In a rocky and uneven area, the bridge was lifted with calicanto brick. In one of the sides of the bridge the inscription can be read: I "pay of San Miguel's children 1882." Their strength is such that until today it is used for the vehicular transport, for this bridge he/she leaves toward: Tourist Villa of Jangalá and there to know its Windows, the District of Llapa, San Silvestre of Cochán and also to go to the city of Cajamarca; also it is good for the displacement of people.
THE TOURIST VILLAGE DE JANGALA AND THEIR WINDOWS
Tourist and Archaeological beautiful Center, located to 04 km. of San Miguel's capital city. In this place the Archaeological Reservation of Jangalá is located. (Hill Blanco). Of there the basin of the river Puclush is observed and of the valley Jequetepeque that opens up and it lowers toward the coast. According to publication of Anropóloga Nativity Vásquez Pérez here would be the funeral Camera of Inca Atahualpa. "All the revenues and accesses are covered with rock of volcanic tufa and sedimentary rock, with the intention of forming hills and that these they are mimicked with the natural" relief.(Source: Prehispanic Library - Culture Moche). PINK SAINT'S LAGOON
This mirror of water is located San Miguel close, in Santa Rosa's Village. It is usually frequented by those that look for beautiful landscapes and for those who make country long walks. GREAT CAPAC ÑAN OR INCA GREAT ROAD
San Miguel of Pallaques is also flanked by another very important route, GREAT CAPAC ÑAN or INCA GREAT ROAD that it almost traffics the whole central mountain with their more than 2,500 kilometers in our current territory and in our county it happens and it integrates the districts of Tongod and Catilluc (you Dilute thermal and medicinal of Quilcate) continuing the road for the high part of Llapa (Uchuquinua) and San Silvestre of Cochán. San Miguel has the privilege like few counties of having the Inca (Route continued by the Spaniards) great Road that integrates to the districts of San Miguel's county like: Nanchoc, Bolívar, Niepos, Dilutes Blanca, the Grassland, San Miguel, Llapa and San Silvestre of Cochán. GULCH DE MANDINGUES IN BOLIVAR
Bolívar's district is in San Miguel's department county from Cajamarca to 1,050 m.s.n.m. Of the summit it is observed the limits of San Gregorio's districts, Niepos, Nanchoc and also sighting the native and natural beautiful and intangible forests of Miravalles (Niepos). As well as the whole coastal valley of the territory of the county of Chiclayo.
THE CASTLE DE CONCHAN
It is a natural splendid work of art. The Castle of Cochán is a megalithic superb monument, and it is located 25 kilometers of San Miguel's city. It is an Incan huaca from where you can locate the limits with Cajamarca and era the route for where Chasquis lowered toward the coast.
WINDOWS DE QUILCATE
The showy windows of Quilcate, located in the district of Catilluc, sighting on a rocky elevation their windows, similar to those of Jangalá. There the existence of successive niches worked in stone and platforms staggered in form of niches are identified.
