SACRED VALLEY VIA FERRATA

The route has 300 meters high in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inca; exposing to all type of climbers to unimaginable landscapes of mystic ruins and natural scenarios. Exact location: Pachar, between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo; to 8 km of Ollantaytambo.
1. What is a road ferrata?.
Via ferrata it is the name used to describe the roads found in the high of Alps, where fixed cables are used for the protection and iron stairways to go up difficult (Another name is Klettersteig) sections. Originally, the roads ferrata were built in Italian Dolomites to allow the movements of the troops during First World War. When the war concluded, these protected roads passed at the hands of mountain guides who have used them to take to clients to the feet of the mountains.
A road ferrata is a route type to climb a mountain that with a permanently installed system of security, it offers to people without any type of experience in escalade and using a minimum of team; the opportunity to move through mountainous spectacular scenarios.

5. That I should take?.
To use clothes light and good shoes (tennis, light walk boots, etc. Non sandals). Keep in mind that as he/she goes ascending it will be cold and more wind, it can take extra clothes in a small backpack. To take minimum 2 liters of water.
6. Duration of the road ferrata.
Arrival, surrenders of the team and chat of security will take 30 minutes. The ascent and descent of the road odrá to last between 3 and 6 hours according to the rhythm of the group.
