COUNTY DE ANGARAES


Lircay, is the capital of the county of Angaraes, it is to 75 km to the southeast of the city of Huancavelica. It possesses temperate climate and it is characterized by their beautiful landscape and their cultural and archaeological patrimony. Here he/she is the neighborhood of Old Town that still preserve their traditional structure and colonial constructions.

Their tourist main attractiveness are, the Thermal Source Huapa, to so single 6 km of the city of Lircay (25 minutes in bus). It possesses pleasant temperature and he/she offers the visitor a pool of regular dimensions. Their medicinal waters are basically made up of sulfur and iron.

Another tourist important attractiveness is Ocopa, to 4 km to the east of the city of Lircay (20 minutes in bus). Exuberant place of green landscapes, located beside the river Lircay. It can visit one another the piscigranja, the hanging bridge, the house country property, their countrysides and the plant milkmaid.

The General Cemetery, is in the main entrance to the city of Lircay (very next to the police position of Lircay). It gathers the mausoleums of the most important landowners in the XVIII century, conserved under good conditions.

The Center of Production of Trouts, located in the neighborhood of New Town, to the height of the center recreacional Perseverance, beside the river Sicra. It is the second I center production of trouts, ovas and alevino in the country, where trouts take place for export.

Big Huayllay, to 6 km of the city of Lircay (25 minutes in bus). I populate Andean typical of the colonial time. Their streets are paved and for the center the water reflects for a channel of stones. Their main square is surrounded of covers and colonial arches and in the end west he/she is the beautiful church of a single tower in whose interior is the Effigy of the Mr. of Huayllay.
