Cachiche, is a word that comes off of the Quechua expression, AILLPA CACHANI whose translation to the Castilian SALTED serious EARTH, is a tourist attractiveness of Ica of having forced visit.

Cachiche is located to 4 Km. to the south of Ica, it is known by their mythical witches that from passed centuries they were very ingrained legends in the popular belief.

In Cachiche he/she is the palm of the seven heads, it is a palm whose trunks adopt quite gloomy forms and escalofriantes, by way of gigantic snakes, and their roots mix and they confuse to raz of the floor.

The inhabitants of Cachiche always cut the seventh head of the palm; this to avoid that Ica is destroyed, according to bill a local legend.
