THE CHANDELIER

WHO THE CHANDELIER MADE DE PARACAS?

In a soft hill of sand, in the Bay of Paracas; one of the biggest mysteries in our history, an immense "Chandelier", is contained drawn on the changing surface of sand, without he/she has never faded.

PIRATES AND TREASURES
Beliefs are knitted that this figure would point out the existence of some treasure hidden by the terrible pirates that American Costa razed in search of the one appreciated gold that the Conquerors embarked to Europe, contrary to this theory they sustain that the pirates were coarse beings that would not make similar he/she marvels.

EXTRATERRESTRIAL?
Other specialists assure that such lines, indelible to the step of the centuries, they would be beings' of other worlds works, pués the Chandelier points directly to the famous lines of Nazca, those that equally alone they can be appreciated from the air and that it would be signs of a gigantic galaxpuerto for extraterrestrial ships.

OLD PERUVIANS DREW THEM
Versions of legends affirm that the old Peruvians that traveled the sea, drew this Chandelier with the purpose of being guided in their fishing voyages or of conquest, because seen from earth it cannot be appreciated, that that if it happens from the limpid sea Paraqueño.

THE NAVIGATOR'S CROSS
They were possibly men Astronomers of the Culture Nazca who you/they built this geoglifo that was not put there so that the travelers passed before the one without repairing in their presence. Geoglifo associates to the Constellation of Cruz of the South, also known as Cruz of the navigators, to indicate the marines of the South hemisphere the location of the Southern Pole by means of its main axis that will serve them as guide and orientation in its trips. Of each one of the lateral arms, it pulls up their corresponding post, parallel to the main axis, of which would be equal to the axis of the cross of the South, Guillermo Illescas in the meditated investigations about this Geoglifo, it has identified it fully with Cruz of the South and some stars of the constellation Centaur that would be those that give him/her their peculiar form of Chandelier. "Turning the eyes to the sky could check - he/she says - that a little more to the star's Beta left (To the east) Cruz and a little above of her (To the north) is the star Pi Centaur, the same one that would be good to determine the lateral post of that side being in that way when uniting with the star corresponding of mediating this constellation a projection generated among the stars that are indicated, parallel to the main axis. Guillermo Illescas.

This figure is drawn in a surface of hardened sand of whitish color, as yes it was about a canvas that fell vertically from the sky until playing the waves that smash against the dark base of stratified rock with violence, where the beach doesn't exist. So that such a place was never a landing, neither arrival point for anybody. The main post measures 200 mts approximately. Of height, as long as the figure all sandal a width of 60 mts. The lateral posts reach a longitude of 60 mts. From their origin until the summit and the furrows that make them visible has a depth that varies of 1.20 m. with 3.20 in the bottom.
