EOLIC ENERGY IN PORT MALABRIGO


In 1989, Electroperú S.A. it began the studies of investigation of eolic energy in the coast of Peru defining the eolic potentiality in Port Malabrigo (Port Malabrigo, District Razuri, County Ascope, Department of The Freedom), San Nicolás and San Juan of Marcona (Department of Ica).

In 1996 the Executive Address of Projects of the Ministry of Energy and Mines implemented the projects pilot of Malabrigo of 250 kW, and in 1999 the project pilot San Juan of Marcona of 450 kW.

Later on both projects were transferred ADINELSA the year 2000, to be administered commercially and to proceed to the upgrade of the information and analysis that he/she should be carried out for the obtaining of the eolic potential, their tendencies, and the current and future perspectives for their development.

The obtained results are due to the data processing of speed of wind registered in each one of the Eolic Power stations. From the year 1996 (Malabrigo) and 1999 (San Juan of Marcona).

Eolic Forest in Malabrigo and San Juan of Marcona

The eolic forests, they are constituted by an aerogeneradores group located in a certain area whose total sum represents the installed power, the uniformity of the speed of the wind it will depend on the characteristic of the land, the geography of Malabrigo and San Juan of Marcona they are very similar of the type eriazo, the registrations of speed of the wind are good to estimate the eolic potential of the place. the land extensions that it is counted the approximate powers would be for Malabrigo of 30 MW with an extension of land of 413 it has transferred for the Project Chavimochic and San Juan of Marcona 100 MW with an extension of 1200 there is, even not cleaned up.

The wind, a clean and cheap source of energy, would begin to be taken advantage of in little time in our country. This would be summed up by means of the construction of a great quantity of mills that you/they would generate electricity based on the eolic denominated energy.

Obviously, they would not be mills like those robust and of big crosses of which listen in the histories, but rather lengthened and metallic modern structures, of towering efficiency and productivity, such as those that are already plentiful in the developed countries. Also, in strict sense, neither it would be about mills, because they won't mill anything, but rather of eolic turbines.

One of the companies with plans in this respect it is Peru Renewable Energy. This has just received the authorization to make the studies of feasibility of the Eolic Power station Casma I, which would be located in the county of the same name, in Áncash, and it would possess the despicable installed power of 100 MW swims.

But that is not the only project. There is other two even bigger. The company Huayra Kallpa has also received authorization for its studies, in this case of the power stations Beautiful eolic Union (in the county of Caravelí, Arequipa) and Tip Balconies (in Talara, Piura). Each one of them will possess an installed power of 200 MW.

It is, because, of three emprendimientos of important size, comparable to medium that of a hydroelectric one. Hopefully the studies confirm the kindness of the projects, so that in about two or three years more we have, when trafficking for those areas of the country, the beautiful image of some eolic immense, slender and efficient turbines generating a part of the electricity that the country requires.

OPERATION OF AN EOLIC ENERGY
