Main Church
Square of Weapons of Iquitos.

Amazon Museum

Built in 1863. They highlight in the museum the succession of big windows finished in arches of half point and protected by strong iron bars, the interior walls decorated with carved wood, and the furniture designed to the usage of the time. Amazon Library

Lake Cushillococha
To 6 km to the south of Caballococha and 3 hours of the frontiers with Colombia and Brazil.

To 115 km of Iquitos (waterway), it is located in the left margin of the river Marañón, to some seven miles of their fork with the river Ucayali.

River Amazons

National Pacaya Reserves Samiria

The reservation is refuge of threatened diverse species or in extinction danger like the charapa (Podocnemis expansa), the maquisapa (Ties them sp.), the river (Pteronura brasiliensis) wolf, the red (it Plows macao) macaw and the cedar (to Give it odorata), among other.

National Allpahuayo.Mishana Reserves

This reservation contains a biological enormous and peculiar wealth, and they highlight numerous species of plants and endemic animals and of restricted distribution, many of them still without scientific description.

They have registered until the moment more than 1780 species of plants, 522 species of butterflies, 155 species of fish, 83 species of amphibians, 120 species of reptiles, 476 species of birds and 145 species of mammals, among those that highlight two endemic species of primates equatorial (Pithecia aequatorialis) Huapo and black (Callicebus Lucifer) Stump. Continually they are new discovered species of plants and animals.

Among the birds they highlight two dozens that alone they inhabit forests of white sand and that they were ignored in Peru until hardly one half a decade ago. In the last five years four species of new birds have been described for the science associated with forests of white (three species of anthills, Herpsilochmus gentryi, Percnostola arenarum and Myrmeciza chatter) sand and an atrapamoscas (Zimmerius villarejoi); there is a fifth that is still in description (Polioptila clementsi). To these it is necessary to not add another dozen of species of birds known before in Peru, as the beautiful cotinga (Xipholena punicea) and the manakin (Neopelma chrysocephalum)
