EMPHAIBA DANCES

According to a legend machiguenga or matsiguenga, the moon had two children that were the suns and the world, which a chaman captures while they took a bath in a lake, I take them to house and it was them proving several crowns of feathers, with the red feathers of the macaw the sun heated too much, and with the greenish yellow of the parakeet; too little, and they were this way proving but and but feathers until he/she found those that gave to the two suns the ideal temperature and I place them in the sky, from then on, one lights by day to the world and he/she rests at night, and the other one that alone we can see in dreams and hallucinations, it constantly lights us and he/she doesn't never rest. The dance of Emphaiba represents the legend of the machiguengas, it represents the force and the color of the feathers of the macaw and of all the parrots of the amazonia, giving a great value to our fauna and our tradition.
