MUSEUM CONTISUYO


The Museum Contisuyo is hidden inside the ruined walls of the Main historical Church of Moquegua that he/she collapsed in an earthquake in 1868. Installed in a modern building that he/she repeats the form of the traditional roofs "mojinetes" of Moquegua, the Museum he/she enjoys a laboratory and deposit for devices in the ground floor, a room of permanent exhibition in the second plant, and an office, auditory, and multi-functional room in the third floor. One can make the journey for for the alone exhibition room or accompanied by a member of the team of the Museum (everything is explained in Castellano and English). The Museum takes the visitors for the regional prehistory, from the first inhabitants until the Empire Inka.
