SAMEGUA


The District of Samegua belongs to the county Marshal Grandson, Region Moquegua, it is located in the geographical following coordinates: 17º10'34 '' south latitude and 70º53'48 '' longitude West, limited by the North with the district of Torata; for the South, This and West with the district of Moquegua, the approximate altitude is of 1570 m.s.n.m, extends in a surface of 62.5 Km2.

The district of Samegua has a temperate climate and I dry off with a radiant sun during almost the whole year, desértico and with a thermal moderate width, the temperature annual half maxim and minimum they are 25.8 and 11.3º C respectively with half precipitation accumulated yearly of 1560 mm. Their language is Spanish; its etymological definition comes from two Quechua words SAMA or SAMI = to take a respiration or encouragement to rest and HUAA = in good hour, then SAMEGUA = in good hour to take a respiration to rest.
