To 1,280 km of the city of Lima he/she is the city of Ilo, Ilo it is the main port of the Department of Moquegua, it has a calm sea and I lavish, and with one fishing industry prospers.
CUAJONE, TOQUEPALA AND THE FOUNDRY DE ILO
In this town it is located the great plant of foundry of copper of the mines of Cuajone and Toquepala that are located respectively in the departments of Moquegua and Tacna, between the 3,000 and 3,500 meters on the sea level. The operations are in charge of Southern Peru Copper Corporation, the main producing of copper of the country, both mines are exploited by the system of open cut, the mine of Cuajone is considered as one of those but big of the world.
The current city this located in the great bay that closes in tip from Cole to the Southwest and tip of Chocolate toward the north, with a low coast, without big cliffs.

SQUARE OF WEAPONS DE ILO
Center of civic activities, to only 2 blocks of the arbor and the coastal pier; it shines a pileta in form of fan shell.
I TEMPER OF SAN GERONIMO
Built in 1871 in wood and calamine lining, today it is remodeled and enlarged. It possesses a baptismal old pile constituted by a marine shell, conduction from Paris. It consists of a single ship of rectangular plant, with a high choir and symmetrical facade that it finishes in a central tower with a light bend in the one it finishes off. The roof has structure of wooden tijeral, with covered with calamine. He/she calls the attention one of the three bells of the steeple that takes engraving the year 1647. The internal walls of the church were decorated with paintings with reasons of plants and angels, of those that some samples are conserved, especially in the corners and in the superior town square.

A HOUSE DE ILO
Built in the XIX century, they are characterized by their architecture of roof of double mojinete, wide rooms and facades of big hall doors and large windows, among those that highlight: Combined Gambetta, Zapata Marries, Valdivia Marries, Segovia Marries, Malatesta, Combined Zepita, Marries K'arletty He/she Marries, Jiménez of the Flower Marries, Vásquez Marries and Koctong Marries.
YOU MARRY OLD
A group of old houses of Ilo with the roof of denominated type Mojinete.
SQUARE MIGUEL GRAU
In this picture the Square Miguel Grau is appreciated, one can see the monument to Grau above one he/she replies of the prow of Huascar. To the side of this square he/she is the Square Billinghurst.
BOATS OF HE/SHE FISHES HANDMADE AND BOLICHERAS
In a first plan some boats of handmade fishermen are appreciated. To the bottom and the Left (confused among boats remolcadoras), some boats bolicheras are appreciated.
