ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX CHUSIS


It is located in the village Chusís, low valley of the river Piura, district and county of Sechura.

This seated in a strategic place on an extensive platform of marine denominated origin Tablazo Wolves from which denominates Low Valley, the outlet of the River Piura and their coast proximity, transforms it into the most important place in this area. Architectural structures of character administrative ceremonial exist, deposits and walls define it as the main center of commercial exchange where the marine resource is gathered, processed and exchanged with products of other areas of the interior of the valley and of other distant areas.

Ceremonial Architecture: They are the structures that are devoted to the celebration of rites and activities of character magic religious, this he/she would have had pyramidal form of square plant with at least two levels or platforms and in each one of them structures of use ritual and of public service.

Architecture Tames: The areas of domestic housing have been located adjacent to the cemetery. In this area the population would have inhabited dedicated to fishing activities, agriculture and cattle raising.
