WHITE END


Well-known place as the beach that inspired the writer Ernest Hemingway and their novel "The old one and the Sea." Also, it is one of the best places for the fishing, with world several récords among those that it highlights that of Black Merlín.

To this place you arrives a little from the town of the High one for a highway deteriorated in some points that it arrives until a crossing where there are two big posters that point out the two hotels of the area, both to a kilometer of distance of this point. The entrance to the town of fishermen is not very attractive, but the road skirts a small hill and it arrives to a beautiful creek with a jetty that has a great hotel, called Merlín. Under this hill, to the side of the creek, it is the beach of Panic Point, where some surfer opts to camp.

From the crossing where they are the posters, he/she takes a highway that takes internationally until the white end Fishing Club that was very well-known in the years 50, since it was a project carried out by a group of foreign millionaires, and that it was very visited in the past by select characters of the jet set like Marilyn Monroe, Nelson Rockefeller and the already mentioned Ernest Hemingway.
